At The Railway Station

HE.
Ah ! those lost azure eyes,
That flashed love onto mine,
Such wild longings arise.
Ah ! those lost azure eyes.
Lit with sweetness and sighs !
'Tis a memory divine.
Ah ! those lost azure eves.
That flashed love into mine.

SHE.
O ! he spake not a word.
And he gave but a glance.
Yet my heart strangely stirred,
O ! he spake but a word,
Yet I listened and heard !
Was it fate ? was it chance ?
O ! he spake but a word.
And he gave but a glance.
