A special choo-choo-tune is about to be released to help with the fund-raising efforts of the Aln Valley Railway in Northumberland UK.
Volunteers from the heritage development have jumped on board with Lionheart Harmony to produce the catchy track.
The lyrics have been written by Aln Valley members Ron Bernstein and Dave Vinten, while Cheryl Camm, of the Harmony group, has arranged the song.
The track is to the tune of Chattanooga Choo Choo, which was originally recorded as a big-band/swing tune by Glenn Miller and His Orchestra.
The song, recorded by Alnwick-based Ali Lee, will be on sale from Monday.
The package will comprise of the song CD and a DVD compilation of the railway story so far from March 2012 to April 2014. It is priced £6.99 and will be available from the shop at the Lionheart site in Alnwick during opening hours, via mail order internet purchase from the Aln Valley website or by emailing Ron at ronbernstein123@btinternet.com
The railway, which started its summer season over Easter, is making an appeal for volunteers.
The team is looking for a front of house/station manager, stonemasons and account examiners.
