The historic Slacky Flat at Bulli will burst into party mode from 14-17th January 2010, when over 500 performers will converge for the 25th award-winning Illawarra Folk Festival.
So if you are coming to the Illawarra Folk Festival at Bulli on Saturday 16th or Sunday January 2010 then there’s no better way than to join the Folk Music Train departing from Central Station, Sydney.
Dedicated carriages will not only ensure you travel in comfort in the most eco friendly and safest way, but your festival will start when you step on the train. Musicians will entertain you on the trip to Bulli Station which is just five minutes walk to the Festival.

Performers and Music Sessions
CARRIAGE 1 – Celtic Music Session Railway Central to Waterfall, Bring your fiddles, whistles and other music instruments for all of the fun. “Rant” a young group from the Victorian Irish Community join the train at Waterfall and perform to Bulli and the festival.
CARRIAGE 2 – Central Station to Hurstville Anthony Robins, song writer, folk music performer leads the singing from Central Station. At Hurstville Station the train is joined by Folk Singers John Wanner and Margaret Walters, local Hurstville duo, poets, and other performers of the written word like - Yuri the Storyteller,
